May Day! May Day! Communistic Socialistic Illegal Aliens plan to Topple the U.S. May 1. What can we do?

May 1 is traditionally a witchcraft festival day.. and has become the Dark Red communist holiday in the last century.  Coincidence?

And now the illegal aliens who have been here peacefully taking our welfare checks given so kindly to them and also taking a lot of the low paying jobs that native born American teenagers are 'too good' to cut their teeth on any more.. and sometimes the illegals are sending their accumulated low pay back home to good ol' Mexico or wherever..  (Aside: There are some immigrants who are happy and proud to become U.S. Citizens -  they work hard for it....and are proud to speak two or three languages -  and would be ashamed to be 'illegal', and be on the welfare 'dole'  no matter how they managed to get here. More power to these kind of folks! )

Do you think that lawbreakers  should take over their host country? Should attempt to destroy the U.S. ?

What can we do about it?

For one thing, maybe we can 'shop till we drop' tomorrow.  hmmmmnn..  good excuse as any.  I need to buy some groceries and GNC is offering their 20% off tomorrow, and maybe we'll go out to dinner tomorrow evening....
and I think I'll go to Goodwill and buy some slightly used stuff from the Mexican ladies at the cash register.
For about $15.00 I can buy about $300 worth of goodies there.  Roy might need to go buy some tools at the hardware store.  Maybe we can go over to Home Depot (refusing to pick up any day laborers by the side of the road on the way) and get some much needed repair supplies for our house.  hmmnn..  I'm sure we can do all our monthly shopping in one day, can't we?

Maybe  I'll also order Avon from my neighbor and I'll order a bunch of healthy happy stuff from our own http://www.oasisoffice.com/shopping/index.php?sponsid=1183044 ("Liberating the Body's Miracles") and from www.my4life.com/shaperite  and www.drdee.xtremehealthformulas.com and http://my.waiora.com/home.php?885520 ("The Truth About our Toxic World") and
www.heavenly.jerkydirect.com  and Amazon, and Barnes&Noble through www.heavenlyhands.net   Why not?

Let's support the legal working people.

Mexicans plan US economic boycott May 1st by not spending their US welfare checks in "Gringo" owned Businesses

(HEY GRINGO, I DON'T HAVE TO SHOW YOU ANY STINKIN' PAPERS)

Any group that illegally pours millions of bodies into cities with the professed intent of shutting those cities down has in essence declared war on the United States and its citizens. Further they are attempting a US economic boycott of businesses by not spending their welfare checks on May 1st. (The boycott in America has spread to their beloved Mexico which is also getting in on the fun as radical Hispanics call for a boycott of all US goods in that country on May 1st.) Jorge Rodriguez, a union official who helped organize earlier rallies bragged, ?We?re going to close down Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tucson, Phoenix, Fresno." They intend to block American citizens from free access to the destinations of their choice.
They will hamper emergency vehicles, police, fire, and ambulances from free movement. Those doing this are radical Latinos who are attempting to topple the American republic. They are gathering illegally in an aggressive attempt to intimidate American political leaders into submission to their political demands. These demonstrators are not good neighbors, they are not good friends, and many are illegal aliens. This mob is led by socialists, communists, and anarchists who are full of hatred for this republic and the pale-faced Americans they call gringos. These radical Hispanics are the enemy within and are a more imminent threat to this nation than the nefarious al Qaeda. The wikipedia encyclopedia says, ?May Day has long been a focal point for demonstrations by various socialist, communist, and anarchist groups.? These radicals often have allegiance to a foreign country, Mexico.
The goals of their organizers are communist oriented and are to destroy our social structure, dominate, and drive the gringo from his land. Our president, congressmen, senators, and state political leaders through the welfare state have fed, nurtured, and allowed a political culture of aliens in this nation to incubate and grow into a cancer that is eating away at the heart and soul of this republic.
Mob Rule on May Day
These radical Hispanics are an invading foreign army of legal citizens and illegal aliens. Do mass numbers of bodies reverse the law and make what?s illegal lawful? Is this how the president and congress determine what?s lawful and what isn?t? Is this why border laws are inefficiently enforced? If twenty citizens did the same thing the illegals and their sympathizing friends will do on May Day - block traffic, interfere with commerce, and fill the streets of a city, the police would do their duty to restore public order by arresting the offenders. If millions of illegals do the same, the police cower in their blue uniforms and do nothing. There is no law; the secret must be in the numbers. Individual rights will be suspended on May Day in favor of mob rule. Our republic isn?t supposed to work like this; we have bad representatives who need to be replaced.
There is No Law
The danger is grave to this land of Jefferson. President Bush, senators and congressman are ready to grant amnesty to 12 to 30 million illegal aliens. Many illegals and their friends on May 1st will be filling the streets of Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and etc. with millions of bodies flaunting our laws with impunity. No one will arrest them; no one will take them back to Mexico. They claim they are doing this for amnesty for illegal aliens. Illegal aliens have no legal rights; they were not invited to sneak into this country. Mexico would never allow such an invasion without calling out the militia.
The protestors want open borders for the hordes of Spanish- speaking people that are unable to build their own prosperous nation south of the border. They are like fleas on a dog; they want a warm- bodied host for a free meal. They have no gratitude; these fleas want to kill the dog and keep the carcass. Amnesty has failed in the past and will fail now and will result in millions more coming who are criminal, sick, uneducated, hungry, welfare clients from third world countries pouring across our border with Mexico.
Tiptoe Through the Tulips
Even stupid politicians must be aware that where there are a few million radical Hispanics resorting to mob intimidation in the streets there are tens of millions of distressed citizens watching who don?t want our Constitutional government stolen by thieves with Hispanic surnames. Will it take a revolution to close the borders and expel the illegal aliens who will fill the streets on May Day? The congressmen who vote for amnesty will certainly be remembered at election time. The president and congressmen are looking for Hispanic votes and banking on the fact that the pale- faced gringos, Asians, and Blacks, will only watch and do nothing while the republic flounders and the politicians tiptoe through the tulips.
Boycotts Cut Two Ways
?The American boycott, which grew out of huge pro-migrant marches across the United States, is designed to pressure Congress to legalize millions of undocumented people.? Notice the misuse of the word ?pro-migrant? in place of illegal alien and the admission that this illegal occupying of US cities is to pressure congress to legalize undocumented people (illegal aliens). The boycott sword has two edges. When I see a product made in Mexico, I?ll put it back on the shelf. At Pedro?s Revolutionary Tacos, if you have a pale face, who knows what Pedro might do to your food before he brings it to you? Maybe Pedro doesn?t like gringos.
Perhaps it would be better to stop at Joe?s Diner. The whiplash to come will hurt many employers who use legal Hispanics as they are now subject to a reverse boycott. Boycotts are not a one way door. The door has been flung open for the demons of prejudice to go both ways. There are many good Hispanics who have assimilated into this society and respect this country?s laws and Constitution and will be harmed by the race hatred of the radial Hispanic movement.
I Love IT
Professor JOSE ANGEL GUTIERREZ , University of Texas has nothing good to say about the gringos: "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . . . I love it. They are ******** (expletive) in their pants with fear. I love it." The professor goes on to say:
"We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." He has since attempted to backpedal from that statement. On the Texas Civil Rights Review Gutierrez tries to distance himself from the radical statement of killing the gringo. However, when he answered the following question, his intent appeared to be the same.
Q: ?What do you mean by ?eliminate the gringo???
A: Gutierrez, ?You can eliminate an individual in various ways. You can certainly kill him, but that is not our intent at this moment.?
Gutierrez does not intend on killing the gringo at this moment, ah, a reprieve? Perhaps mañana.
Sorry, No Amnesty
Professor Gutierrez is symbolic of the radical Hispanic movement against this republic. Its intention is to bring this nation to its knees and behead the gringo and replace him with its own people. They will use either mass intimidation in the streets, or if they fail there they will revert to physical violence as their many documents and leaders profess. For addition information and documentation go to Hey Gringo, Pack Your Bags and Get Out and The Continued Sacking of The People's Purse - http://newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd186.htm.
Don?t be intimidated or depressed by what you will see on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN on May 1st, in fact turn your TV off that day and go out and have a good time spending some American dollars. There must be no amnesty, no work, no food stamps, no medical care, and the expulsion of all illegals from this nation. Contact your elected representative.
If you do nothing, the following will become fact, ?The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot." -- Excelsior, Mexico's national newspaper

Russia will deliver air defense systems to Iran - top general

19/04/2006 20:19
MOSCOW, April 19 (RIA Novosti) - The chief of the General Staff said Wednesday that Russia would honor its commitments on supplying military equipment to Iran.
"We discussed supplies of military equipment to Iran, including the Tor M1, in the framework of bilateral cooperation, but it does not fall into the category of strategic weapons," Army General Yury Baluyevsky said after talks in Moscow with NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe General James Jones.
"And I can assure you it will be delivered under the control of the relevant organizations," he said.
At the end of 2005, Russia concluded a $700-million contract on the delivery of 29 Tor M1 air defense systems to Iran.
Çåíèòíî-ðàêåòíûé êîìïëåêñ ÒÎÐ-Ì1The Tor-M1 is a fifth-generation integrated mobile air defense system designed for operation at medium, low and very low altitudes against fixed/rotary wing aircraft, UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle), guided missiles and other high-precision weapons.
Despite strong criticism from the United States, Russia has maintained that the systems could be used only to protect Iran's air space.

Baluyevsky also said Russia's Armed Forces would not be involved in any military conflict in Iran.
"I do not think the conflict [in Iran] will turn into a war," he said. "Russia will not propose the use of its armed forces in a potential military conflict on either side."
Baluyevsky said he did not discuss the Iranian nuclear program with Jones, although the issue is "on everybody's mind."
Meanwhile, Iran's Defense Minister, Mostafa Mohammad-Najar, said Wednesday that his country would go ahead with its non-military nuclear research because it was a legitimate right of the Iranian people.
The Iranian official is currently on a three-day visit to the neighboring Central Asian republic of Azerbaijan to discuss bilateral cooperation in the defense sphere.
Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, will attend a summit of Economic Cooperation Organization, a regional cooperation body, in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, on May 4-5.

Villagers living near a rumbling Indonesian volcano have ignored calls to evacuate

Villagers living near a rumbling and swelling Indonesian volcano have ignored calls to evacuate after local officials were told to prepare for the worst. Authorities have placed Mount Merapi, which overlooks the ancient city of Yogyakarta, on Orange Code, the second highest alert level, amid fears of an eruption.

"Up until now, the intensity of volcanic tremors is still high and the crater wall is swelling, signaling internal pressure and accumulation of magma inside Mount Merapi," said Subandriyo, chief of Mount Merapi Observation Unit at the state-run Centre for Volcano Research and Technology Development. Local authorities and governments around Merapi have been advised to take all precautionary actions to mitigate
disaster scenarios from possible volcanic eruption.

Villagers living nearest to the slopes of Merapi, however, are still ignoring calls to flee the rumbling volcano as they go about their daily chores without much concern. Subandriyo said the complacency stemmed from the fact that the volcano's swelling, a sign of imminent eruption, was not yet visible to the naked eye.

Officials said the military had supplied more than 200 trucks and buses to evacuate villagers living on the slopes of Merapi near Yogyakarta, 460km west of the capital, Jakarta. Merapi's last major eruption was in 1994 when more than 60 people were killed.

One of its most destructive eruptions was in 1930, when 1 300 people died. Indonesia sits astride the geologically active Pacific "Ring of Fire" and has more than 100 active volcanoes. - Reuters

Volcano Ash Sickens 1,000 People, Kills Llamas in Peru

Peru Volcano Ash Sickens 1,000 People, Kills Llamas

AREQUIPA, Peru - At least 1,000 people have suffered respiratory problems from a tower of ash spewing from the Ubinas volcano in southern Peru, and 20 llamas have died after eating poisoned grass, a local official said on Wednesday.
Ubinas, in the Moquegua region 550 miles (900 km) south of Lima, has been belching for much of the month and this week sent smoke and ash 2,600 feet (800 meters) into the air, spreading a thick carpet of ash on areas north of the volcano.
Officials said the volcano continued to spit out ash and smoke on Wednesday, and the wind was carrying it north.
"Approximately 1,000 people from several small towns north of the volcano have had breathing problems and itching eyes from the sulfur in the rain of ash," Agustin Quispe, mayor of the town of San Juan de Tarucani de Arequipa, one of the towns north of the volcano affected by ash, told reporters.
In recorded history, Ubinas has never had a lava eruption, according to experts at the university of Arequipa in southern Peru.
Quispe said ash carried north by the wind had affected five towns that are within six miles (10 km) of the volcano. He also said 20 llamas in his village died from eating "contaminated grasses."
In the hamlet of Querapi, home to 42 farming families three miles (4.5 km) from the 18,700 foot (5,670 meter)-high volcano, Civil Defense authorities distributed gas masks and recommended evacuation earlier this week.
But the people of Querapi were reluctant to leave despite the yellow alert declared by Civil Defense.

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Many villagers living near a tremoring Indonesian volcano have ignored calls to evacuate and
officials said on Tuesday local governments must be vigilant in prepare for the worst.
Authorities have placed Mount Merapi, which overlooks the ancient city of Yogyakarta, on Orange Code, or the second highest alert level, following fears of an eruption due to an increase in the number of tremors.
"We have tried to make people understand that danger is lurking and up until today we are still trying to persuade them. However, they seem to feel comfortable with it," said Triyani, an official in charge of observing Merapi at the state-run Center for Volcano Research and Technology Development in Yogyakarta.
"We have advised local governments around Merapi to take all the needed action to mitigate possible disaster from volcanic eruption," she said.
Triyani added the complacency stems from residents who have not felt significant jolts, and the fact that the volcano's swelling in places, a sign an eruption may come soon, is not visible yet to the naked eye.
Subandriyo, head of the center's Merapi department, said officials are trying to figure out the directions in which materials will spew and spread if an eruption occurs.
"At the moment, we are at the conclusion that Merapi's activities are increasing and may possibly lead to eruption," Indonesia's national news agency Antara quoted him as saying.
Officials said the military had deployed more than 200 trucks and buses to evacuate villagers living on the slopes of Merapi near Yogyakarta, 460 km (285 miles) west of the capital, Jakarta.   Continued...

Indonesia raises volcano alert

Indonesia raises volcano alert

Thursday, April 13, 2006 (Jakarta):

Indonesia has raised the alert status of the Merapi volcano on Java Island to the second-highest level, warning that increased activity at the crater means it could erupt anytime.

Monitors have been watching Merapi closely for several weeks and have raised its status to 'Beware', one notch below the highest level that requires immediate evacuation of villagers living on its slopes.

Instruments in the crater have recorded an increase in quakes inside the mountain, which he said were a sign that an eruption was likely.

The mountain was also spewing smoke some 250 meters into the air, much higher than normal.

Villagers living nearby have been told to prepare for a possible evacuation.

Merapi is one of the most active of at least 129 volcanoes in Indonesia, and is located about 400 km east of capital Jakarta. (AP)

The 11 Universal Laws and 11 Spiritual Laws of Creator

From Antarah Rose:

The 11 Universal Laws and 11 Spiritual Laws of Creator
Chief Golden Eagle ~
Standing ElkIn Janauary of 1988 Standing Elk had a Dream~Vision. He sought guidance in a Sweat Lodge. He was Guided to Vision Quest. He was sent to the tallest hill overlooking the Missouri river by the Bald and Golden Eagle, where he was to pray. With the aid of a benedictine priest, Abbot Dennis from Blue Cloud Abbey, they prepared the area on the hill for vision. He was taken to the hill by supporting family members on a cold night. Four days and four nights without food or water, he stood and prayed. A light in the sky appeared during the morning and afternoon hours of his fast. Believing he could 'see' through the blue atmosphere, he thanked the Spirit for allowing him to see the stars during the day. It was soon learned that these were not stars. A medicine from the stars, A Star Altar, the Elk way of the Canupa Wakan was gifted to him through his prayers.
In Savory, Wyoming August 1994
Standing Elk was inivited to help those that needed spiritual enlightenment on a small ranch known as the Antelope Retreat Center in Savory, Wyoming. During the night of August 18, Standing Elk was taken from his room by a Tunkasila and a tall Star relative. He was taken about 50 yards to the north of the house. There were two other star relatives that were standing and holding a metallic beam about 5 feet long. There were many symbols that were embedded into the metal beams. The Star relatives had no hair on their body and they were very beautiful in appearance. The began to communicate, translate and interpret the symbols that were on the bar. In the middle of the transmissions they were interrupted by Standing Elk's son who was looking out the window from the house.
They took Standing Elk back into his room and they left.
Later that year at the International UFO conference in Mesquite, Nevada these same star symbols were presented by ufologist Michael Hesemann. Suddenly, flashbacks of the Orion representatives and the symbols brought back some insights. There were also pictures of the control panels of the Soccorro starcraft. Standing Elk, understood that the symbols interpretation was far from being complete, so he sought further inspiration from his Vision with the Orions.
Returning to South Dakota, Standing Elk began a series of ceremonies utilizing the Sun Dance Altar of his grandson, Deer Man, and the Inipi (sweat lodge). Soon a spirit teacher named Ista Wanzi, One Eye, emerged from the inner worlds to interpret one by one, ceremony by ceremony 11 Universal and 11 spiritual Laws of Creator - grounding our understanding through a name and a basic understanding. The teachings from these ceremonies were the beginning of the writings of MAKA WICAHPE WICOHAN.
At the first Star Knowledge Conference held in Wagner, South Dakota in June 1996, Standing Elk released the 22 Star Laws of Creator through name and a brief interpretation. He then put out a call for further spiritual interpretation to fully ground the Universal and Spiritual teachings.
VEDAVOO WYOMING
In July of 1996, on a hilltop in Wyoming, Hehaka Inazin, Standing Elk a Ihanktowan Dakota, was praying during a four day fast, Hamblecia. He was praying for a blessing and direction from the Star Nations . Later that night he was visited by a tall young Native Elder with no eyes. The Elder who he recalls as Ista Wanica came and sat down beside him. No Eyes asked Standing Elk what was the reason for his vision quest. Standing Elk shared the star dream, star visitation and vision and asked for further instructions and understanding. No eyes looked at Standing Elk and laughed. He instructed Standing Elk to go into the Black Hills and do ceremony.
Later in the fall of 1996, Standing Elk, Pathfinder, Silverstar and several spiritual teachers held ceremonies through Canupa Wicohan, (the way of the sacred pipe), to bring through the spirit Grandmothers and Grand fathers. The messages of these ceremonies came to represent the Galactic Federations out reach to Earth's peoples. Approximately 70 spirit helpers of Earth, Stars, and Ascended Realms extended their influence to Earth's kingdoms through the 11:11 Universal and Spiritual Laws and thus created the doorway of Maka Wicahpi Wichohan for the People and all the Relations.
"A Gathering of Native America Elders, Spiritual Leaders and Others has been called, to share the teachings of the Tunkasila and Unci (Grandfathers and Grandmothers), and the spiritual knowledge of the Star Nations, with the people of the Americas and the world. Through my personal contacts, some medicine men have agreed that it is time, because of the closeness and the fulfillment of the prophecies that are vital for our existence as a human race. The sharing of the dreams and visions of the Tunkasila will strengthen the foundation of Nations that are sincerely interested in being that element that will be the foundation of the Thousand Years of Peace. We are all part of the Sacred Hoop that needs to be mended, and we must make a humble effort in this task, if the seventh generation, our grandchildren and unborn are to survive the next awareness."

Here's a post from a California lawyer that seems to present the "Big Picture"" in just the right manner.  This is something all Americans should read!!

A California Lawyer's Perspective on Iraq Warby Raymond S. Kraft

Sixty-three years ago, Nazi Germany had overrun almost all of Europe and hammered England to the verge of bankruptcy and defeat, and had sunk more than four hundred British ships in their convoys between England and America for food and war materials.
Bushido Japan had overrun most of Asia, beginning in 1928, killing millions of civilians throughout China, and impressing millions more as slave labor.
The US was in an isolationist, pacifist, mood, and most Americans and Congress wanted nothing to do with the European war, or the Asian war.   Then along came Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and in outrage Congress unanimously declared war on Japan, and the following day on Germany, which had not attacked us.  It was a dicey thing.  We had few allies.
France was not an ally; the Vichy government of France aligned with its German occupiers.  Germany was not an ally; it was an enemy, and Hitler intended to set up a Thousand Year Reich in EuropeJapan was not an ally; it was intent on owning and controlling all of AsiaJapan and Germany had long-term ideas of invading Canada and Mexico, and then the United States over the north and south borders, after they had settled control of Asia and Europe.
America's allies then were England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Australia, and Russia, and that was about it.  There were no other countries of any size or military significance with the will and ability to contribute much or anything to the effort to defeat Hitler's Germany and Japan, and prevent the global dominance of Nazism.  And we had to send millions of tons of arms, munitions, and war supplies to Russia, England, and the Canadians, Aussies, Irish, and Scots, because none of them could produce all they needed for themselves.
All of Europe, from Norway to Italy, except Russia in the east, was already under the Nazi heel.

America was not prepared for war.  America had stood down most of its military after WWI and throughout the depression.  At the outbreak of WWII there were army units training with broomsticks over their shoulders because they didn't have guns, and cars with "tank" painted on the doors because they didn't have tanks.  And a big chunk of our navy had just been sunk and damaged at Pearl Harbor.
Britain had already gone bankrupt, saved only by the donation of $600 million in gold bullion in the Bank of England that was the property of Belgium and was given by Belgium to England to carry on the war when Belgium was overrun by Hitler.  Actually, Belgium surrendered one day, because it was unable to oppose the German invasion, and the Germans bombed Brussels into rubble the next day anyway just to prove they could.  Britain had been holding out for two years already in the face of staggering shipping loses and the near-decimation of its air force in the Battle of Britain. Britain was saved from being overrun by Germany only because Hitler made the mistake of thinking the Brits were a relatively minor threat that could be dealt with later and turning his attention to Russia, at a time when England was on the verge of collapse in the late summer of 1940.
Russia saved America's butt by putting up a desperate fight for two years until the US got geared up to begin hammering away at Germany.
Russia lost something like 24 million people in the sieges of Stalingrad and Moscow, 90% of them from cold and starvation, mostly civilians, but also more than a million soldiers.  More than a million.
Had Russia surrendered then, Hitler would have been able to focus his entire campaign against the Brits, then America, and the Nazis would have won that war.
Had Hitler not made that mistake and invaded England in 1940 or 1941, instead, there would have been no England for the US and the Brits to use as a staging ground to prepare an assault on Nazi Europe; England would not have been able to run its North African campaign to help take a little pressure off Russia while America geared up for battle; and today Europe would very probably be run by the Nazis, the Third Reich.  And, isolated and without any allies (not even the Brits), the US would very probably have had to cede Asia to the Japanese, who were basically Nazis by another name then, and the world we live in today would be very different and much worse. I say this to illustrate that turning points in history are often dicey things.
And we are at another one.

There is a very dangerous minority in Islam that either has, or wants and may soon have, the ability to deliver small nuclear, biological or chemical weapons, almost anywhere in the world, unless they are prevented from doing so.
France, Germany and Russia have been selling them weapons technology at least as recently as 2002, as have North Korea, Syria, and Pakistan, paid for with billions of dollars Saddam Hussein skimmed from the "Oil For Food" program administered by the UN with the complicity of Kofi Annan and his son.
The Jihadis, the militant Muslims, are basically Nazis in Kaffiyahs -- they believe that Islam, a radically conservative (definitely not liberal!) form of Wahhabi Islam, should own and control the Middle East first, then Europe, then the world, and that all who do not bow to Allah should be killed, enslaved or subjugated.  They want to finish the Holocaust, destroy Israel, purge the world of Jews.  This is what they say.
There is also a civil war raging in the Middle East -- for the most part not a hot war, but a war of ideas.  Islam is having its Inquisition and its Reformation today, but it is not yet known which will win -- the Inquisition, or the Reformation.
If the Inquisition wins, then the Wahhabis, the Jihadis, will control the Middle East, and the OPEC oil, and the US, European and Asian economies The techno-industrial economies, will be at the mercy of OPEC -- not an OPEC dominated by the well-educated and rational Saudis of today, but an OPEC dominated by the Jihadis.
You want gas in your car?  You want heating oil next winter?  You want jobs? You want the dollar to be worth anything?  You better hope the Jihad, the Muslim Inquisition, loses, and the Islamic Reformation wins.
If the Reformation movement wins -- that is, the moderate Muslims who believe that Islam can respect and tolerate other religions, and live in peace with the rest of the world, and move out of the 10th century into the 21st -- then the troubles in the Middle East will eventually fade away, and a moderate and prosperous Middle East will emerge.
We have to help the Reformation win, and to do that we have to fight the Inquisition; i.e., the Wahhabi movement, the Jihad, Al Qaeda, the Islamic terrorist movements.  We have to do it somewhere.  We cannot do it nowhere.  And we cannot do it everywhere at once.  We have created a focal point for the battle now at the time and place of our choosing, in Iraq.
Not in New York, not in London, or Paris, or Berlin, but in Iraq, where we did and are doing two very important things.

(1) We deposed Saddam Hussein.  Whether Saddam Hussein was directly involved in 9/11 or not, it is undisputed that Saddam has been actively supporting the terrorist movement for decades.  Saddam is a terrorist.  Saddam is, or was, a weapon of mass destruction, who is responsible for the deaths of probably more than a million Iraqis and two million Iranians.
(2) We created a battle, a confrontation, a flash point, with Islamic terrorism in Iraq.  We have focused the battle.  We are killing bad guys there, and the ones we get there we won't have to get here, or anywhere else.  We also have a good shot at creating a democratic, peaceful Iraq which will be a catalyst for democratic change in the rest of the Middle East, and an outpost for a stabilizing American military presence in the Middle East for as long as it is needed.
The Euros could have done this, but they didn't, and they won't.  We now know that rather than opposing the rise of the Jihad, the French, Germans and Russians were selling them arms -- we have found more than a million tons of weapons and munitions in Iraq.  If Iraq was not a threat to anyone, why did Saddam need a million tons of weapons?
And Iraq was paying for French, German and Russian arms with money skimmed from the UN Oil For Food Program (supervised by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and his son) that was supposed to pay for food, medicine and education for Iraqi children.
World War II, the war with the German and Japanese Nazis, really began with a "whimper" in 1928.  It did not begin with Pearl Harbor.  It began with the Japanese invasion of China.  It was a war for fourteen years before America joined it.  It officially ended in 1945 -- a 17-year war -- and was followed by another decade of US occupation in Germany and Japan to get those countries reconstructed and running on their own again . . . a 27-year war.
World War II cost the United States an amount equal to approximately a full year's GDP -- adjusted for inflation, equal to about $12 trillion dollars. WWII cost America more than 400,000 killed in action and nearly 100,000 still missing in action.  [The Iraq war has, so far, cost the US about $160 billion, which is roughly what 9/11 cost New York.  It has also cost about 1,800 American lives, which is roughly 1/2 of the 3,000 lives that the Jihad snuffed on 9/11.]  But the cost of not fighting and winning WWII would have been unimaginably greater - a world now dominated by German and Japanese Nazism.
Americans have a short attention span, now, conditioned I suppose by 60-minute TV shows and 2-hour movies in which everything comes out okay. The real world is not like that.  It is messy, uncertain and sometimes bloody and ugly.  Always has been, and probably always will be.
If we do this thing in Iraq successfully, it is probable that the Reformation will ultimately prevail.  Many Muslims in the Middle East hope it will.  We will be there to support it.  It has begun in some countries, Libya, for instance.  And Dubai.  And Saudi Arabia.  If we fail, the Inquisition will probably prevail, and terrorism from Islam will be with us for all the foreseeable future, because the Inquisition, or Jihad, believes they are called by Allah to kill all the Infidels, and that death in Jihad is glorious.
The bottom line here is that we will have to deal with Islamic terrorism until we defeat it, whenever that is.  It will not go away on its own. It will not go away if we ignore it.
If the US can create a reasonably democratic and stable Iraq, then we have an "England" in the Middle East, a platform, from which we can work to help modernize and moderate the Middle East.  The history of the world is the clash between the forces of relative civility and civilization, and the barbarians clamoring at the gates.  The Iraq war is merely another battle in this ancient and never-ending war.  And now, for the first time ever, the barbarians are about to get nuclear weapons.  Unless we prevent them. Or somebody does.
The Iraq war is expensive, and uncertain, yes.  But the consequences of not fighting it and winning it will be horrifically greater.
We have four options --
1.  We can defeat the Jihad now, before it gets nuclear weapons.
 2.  We can fight the Jihad later, after it gets nuclear weapons (which may be as early as next year, if Iran's progress on nuclear weapons is what Iran claims it is).
 3.  We can surrender to the Jihad and accept its dominance in the Middle East now, in Europe in the next few years or decades, and ultimately in America.
 4.  Or we can stand down now, and pick up the fight later when the Jihad is more widespread and better armed, perhaps after the Jihad has dominated France and Germany and maybe most of the rest of Europe.  It will be more dangerous, more expensive, and much bloodier then.

Yes, the Jihadis say that they look forward to an Islamic America.  If you oppose this war, I hope you like the idea that your children, or grandchildren, may live in an Islamic America under the Mullahs and the Sharia, an America that resembles Iran today.
We can be defeatist peace-activists as anti-war types seem to be, and concede surrender to the Jihad, or we can do whatever it takes to win this war against them.
The history of the world is the history of civilizational clashes, cultural clashes.  All wars are about ideas, ideas about what society and civilization should be like, and the most determined always win.
Those who are willing to be the most ruthless always win.  The pacifists always lose, because the anti-pacifists kill them.

In the 20th century, it was Western democracy vs. communism, and before that Western democracy vs. Nazism, and before that Western democracy vs. German Imperialism.  Western democracy won three times, but it wasn't cheap, fun, nice, easy or quick.  Indeed, the wars against German Imperialism (WWI), Nazi Imperialism (WWII) and communist imperialism (the 40-year Cold War that included the Vietnam Battle (commonly called the Vietnam War, but itself a major battle in a larger war) covered almost the entire century.
The first major war of the 21st Century is the war between Western Judeo/Christian Civilization and Wahhabi Islam.  It may last a few more years, or most of this century.  It will last until the Wahhabi branch of Islam fades away, or gives up its ambitions for regional and global dominance and Jihad, or until Western Civilization gives in to the Jihad.

Senator John Kerry, in the debates and almost daily, makes 3 scary claims:
 1.  We went to Iraq without enough troops.
We went with the troops the US military wanted.  We went with the troop levels General Tommy Franks asked for.  We deposed Saddam in 30 days withlight casualties, much lighter than we expected.  The real problem in Iraq is that we are trying to be nice -- we are trying to fight minority of the population that is Jihadi, and trying to avoid killing the large majority that is not.  We could flatten Fallujah in minutes with a flight of B-52's, or seconds with one nuclear cruise missile -- but we don't.  We're trying to do brain surgery, not amputate the patient's head.  The Jihadis amputate heads.
2.  We went to Iraq with too little planning.
This is a specious argument.  It supposes that if we had just had "the right plan" the war would have been easy, cheap, quick and clean.   That is not an option.  It is a guerrilla war against a determined enemy, and no such war ever has been or ever will be easy, cheap, quick and clean. This is not TV.

3.  We proved ourselves incapable of governing and providing security.
This too is a specious argument.  It was never our intention to govern and provide security.  It was our intention from the beginning to do just enough to enable the Iraqis to develop a representative government and their own military and police forces to provide their own security, and that is happening.  The US and the Brits and other countries there have trained over  100,000 Iraqi police and military, now, and will have trained more than 200,000 by the end of next year.  We are in the process of transitioning operational control for security back to Iraq.   It will take time.  It will not go with no hitches.  This is not TV.
Remember, perspective is everything, and America's schools teach too little history for perspective to be clear, especially in the young American mind.  The Cold war lasted from about 1947 at least until the Berlin Wall came down in 1989  Forty-two years.  Europe spent the first half of the 19th century fighting Napoleon, and from 1870 to 1945 fighting Germany.
World War II began in 1928, lasted 17 years, plus a ten-year occupation, and  the US still has troops in Germany and Japan.  World War II resulted in the  death of more than 50 million people, maybe more than 100 million people, depending on which estimates you accept.
The US has taken a little more than 2,000 KIA in Iraq.  The US took more than 4,000 Killed in action on the morning of June 6, 1944, the first day of the Normandy Invasion to rid Europe of Nazi Imperialism.  In WWII the US averaged 2,000 KIA a week for four years.  Most of the individual battles of WWII lost more Americans than the entire Iraq war has done so far.

But the stakes are at least as high . . . a world dominated by representative governments with civil rights, human rights and personal freedoms -- or a world dominated by a radical Islamic Wahhabi movement, by the Jihad, under the Mullahs and the Sharia (Islamic law).
I do not understand why the American Left does not grasp this.   They favor human rights, civil rights, liberty and freedom, but evidently not for Iraqis.  In America, absolutely, but nowhere else.

300,000 Iraqi bodies in mass graves in Iraq are not our problem.  The US population is about twelve times that of Iraq, so let's multiply 300,000 by twelve.  What would you think if there were 3,600,000 American bodies in mass graves in America because of George Bush?    Would you hope for another country to help liberate America?
"Peace Activists" always seem to demonstrate where it's safe, in America  Why don't we see Peace Activist demonstrating in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, North Korea, in the places in the world that really need peace activism the most?

The liberal mentality is supposed to favor human rights, civil rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc., but if the Jihad wins, wherever the Jihad wins, it is the end of civil rights, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc.  Americans who oppose the liberation of Iraq are coming down on the side of their own worst enemy.
If the Jihad wins, it is the death of Liberalism.   Everywhere the Jihad wins, it is the death of Liberalism.   And American Liberals just don't get it.
